About Our Ministry

We are missionaries with ReachGlobal Crisis Response and are deployed to South Carolina  ministering to those affected by the October 2015 flooding in Columbia and helping out in Hilton Head Island with Hurricane Matthew recovery. ReachGlobal Crisis Response exists to develop, empower and release the body of Christ in times of need.

How do we do that?
1. We partner with existing ministries and restoring the body
 of Christ.
2. Reach out to their communities to holistically serve and make disciples.
3. Transforming volunteers who come in to help.
4. Then they are able to impact their sending churches and the
 communities they serve.

Why Crisis Response?
Crisis disruptions the normalcy of life. A crisis includes but goes beyond disasters
Theme: God creates a mission field in the wake of every crisis. . . A crisis offers the opportunity to be intentional in building relationships with those who do not know Christ. Every crisis offers an opportunity to present the whole Gospel to the whole person.

In Rob’s role as Response Facilitator, he is able to use his life long experience in construction and his love for the Lord together to glorify Him. Relationship with the homeowner is his priority as he ministers to them through the rebuilding of their homes. Rob meets with homeowners and accesses their needs, works with them to obtain materials and manages construction sites.

As Operations and Volunteer Coordinator, Jackie uses her gift of hospitality to host volunteer teams at ReachGlobal Crisis Response’s Staten Island location. She not only hosts volunteers but also ministers to homeowners and local church partners to foster their relationships with The Lord. She also serves as as Assistant Communications Coordinator with the ReachGlobal Crisis Response Communications Team. In this role, she  helps to raise awareness for the ministry through website management, print materials, social media updates and working with the EFCA National Office to improve the ministry’s communication as a whole.

Discipleship is our main goal whether it be with the homeowners, ministry partners or the volunteers.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19                                                                                                                                    God’s mandate for us is to make disciples.
